I was going through the monster advancer, and when I saw the Fallen Solar Angel, I was a little shocked. I didn't know they had such a write-up for that. Where (what book) did it originally come from?

A fair question. In general, I have not made it particularly clear what source each creature is from, but the data is there. (Usually you can find out by looking at section 15 of the OGL notice.) I have a creature quick viewer that I could probably release with little effort that would let you browse all the creatures in a sortable table...this table could easily include information such as source.... With that said the real answer to your question is the reason you have never seen the fallen solar angel published is because it is my own creation. I had a user who was running a campaign who wanted some fallen angels and while I didn't have the time to develop a full template to handle such a thing I put together a fallen solar for him. I basically reversed all its spell-like abilities and gave it a few powers that I thought fit well with its CR while have some nice flavor. All in all, I thought it turned out nicely and well-balanced considering I did it on a whim. In any case, it is fully OGL and thus you are free to use it, expand upon it, reprint it or simply admire it. If you are more interested in more of the same or the template just let me know and I will put some time into it. (It would be a nice change from what I have been working on). One of the Overlord's darkest desires is to publish my own book of creatures and I have a feeling I may devote a section to angels of this type. In the mean time, I don't have any great intent on publishing my own content on the site, except by specific request.

If and when you decide to publish your own book, don't forget to add in the cleric spells that the fallen solar would like have.
