This Is truly an amazing tool!!! Hail To The Overlord!!!!!!! I liked it so much I put a article up at my main forum I visit. ddmspoilers.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=3458 I think you really got something here and your site needs to be seen! The only creatures missing that I have noticed so far that could really be used are Dwarves, Halflings, and the Balor. I use this for npc's as well as monsters. Orcus and some of the other larger epic encounters would be awesome too! ;D Will you ever make this available for download so you can work offline or in a separate program? I would totally buy it for $10-$15 for the time it saves me If I notice anything else I'll drop it in the suggestion box, and once again thanks for the great tool I humbly bow before you! Keep up the good work!

The problem with people like Orcus is that his stats aren't part of the SRD, and thus, cannot be put into Monster Advancer without having to go through a lot of red tape with Wizards of the Coast.
Also, welcome.

Welcome, and thank you for your stunning endorsements. The obvious missing creatures you listed I noticed were absent a while ago and was surprised myself that no one had pointed out that they were missing. I will get those taken care of as soon as possible. As far as epic encounters, Wintertail is right that only the SRD is fair game. However, there are a number of really cool high level demon/devil encounters in some of the Tome of Horrors and others...and I will make an effort to get some more of the higher level stuff in there. In truth, I am spread a bit thin at present as I have been busy at home and have been putting my development time into a create entry interface to allow people to help me add missing creatures to the site (as well as do 3.5 to pathfinder conversions very easily) This will help me get all the Pathfinder creatures into the database without selling my soul to Orcus as well as getting any remaining missed beasts into the fold. As far as an offline version. It is something I very much look forward to doing. As things become more stable and I get more of this in order it is definitely getting closer. Before it happens however, there is a large list of features I want to have completed first. - The new interface
- easy way to add buffs to stat block (this is officially part of new interface),
- familiar, special mount and animal companion handling,
- treasure generation,
- auto-feat/gear selection
- core prestige classes
- most pathfinder creatures (pathfinder compatibility is already done--just not released for public consumption)
With all that said, I could release the offline version somewhere during all that madness as I really don't want to make people wait that long for an offline option. However, I also want the product to be amazing prior to that release...and that happens one step at a time.

I understand about being busy so no worries you can only do what you can do. Red tape is never good but I'm cool with the basic SRD stuff so no worries there either. Most wanted creatures atm are dwarves, halflings, balor (Because we got to be able to make balor lords right? ;D) And it seems beholders are missing. That's all I noticed right off the bat but if I see anything else I'll let you know. Thanks again for the wonderful tool and if you ever make it available for purchase you got a pre-order

The beholder and the mind-flayer are two creatures that, if I'm not mistaken, can't be added because they are not OGL. They are considered intellectual property of Wizards of the Coast. I've seen other sites that have added them, but just changed the name to things like "Eye Monster", "Floating Eye", or "Mind Eater". Now, is this legal? Possibly.
Let me ask this, is it better to just skip these monsters or risk getting a cease and desist letter from Wizards? I would LOVE those creatures, as they are some of my favorite monsters! But at the same time, I would personally rather not risk angering the great and all-powerful epic monster that is Wizards, that's an encounter I'd just rather avoid.

Yes your right Beholders are not srd material my bad. I wouldn't want anyone to ever do anything that would get them into legal trouble! They kind of ripped mind flayers off cthulu imho . Let wotc be wotc though what can you do? What would be the odds of homebrew critters for advancer?

Actually, I think the idea of home-brewed creatures are good! In fact, there's a Fallen Angel, Solar in the advancer. I've been discussing some different things with The Overlord, and he's planning on adding material from OGL d20 sources other than WoTC. Right now, however, he's been rather busy with some things in his personal life. And with what time he has had, he's been working on completing the new Chart and Treasure Generators.
