Quote: Improved Grab(Ex): To use this ability, an owlbear must hit with a claw attack. It can then attempt to start a grapple as a free action without provoking an attack of opportunity.
Ropers don't have Improved Grab. They don't have scent either.
As well, the skills are way off.
Skills: Listen +9.5, Sense Motive +9.5, Spot +9.5
vs OGL
Climb +12, Hide +10*, Listen +13, Spot +13
Also, where are the feats? They should be Alertness, Improved Initiative, Iron Will, Weapon Focus (strand).

I have removed the 2 erroneous special abilities.
As far the skills go, those currently do not get populated based on the numbers from the SRD. (They get populated based on a skill assignment strategy that tries to assign max points to all class skills. A monster's class skills are assumed to be the ones listed in the creature's stat block. The display also will show skills that have bonuses even if they aren't class skills. This doesn't happen often but the roper is one of those strange cases. In this case, Ropers have a +4 bonus to escape artist checks even though escape artist is not a class skill for them.)
With that said, the class skills were not properly set for the roper which would have made the choices revert to set of "standard npc" skills that tend to be useful for npcs...but not so much for ropers. In any case, I have corrected all these things and the current skills that get assigned end up being Climb +13, Escape Artist +5, Hide +18, Listen +12, Spot +12 which matches up pretty closely with the stat block in the book. (The display includes the racial bonuses instead of listing it later in the stat block as that is not helpful to DMs.)
These corrections will go out with my next release and I will update this thread at that time.
